It is an archetypal symbol of wholeness containing vast libraries of knowledge which is our responsibility to come to understand. The Teaching Wheel is a symbol of power, wisdom and grace, given to us by Spirit to inform and guide us on our journey through Life. It serves as a receptacle for the sacred wisdom of the Ancestors and is a place of healing and unity, where everything is related and connected.

The Wheel symbolises the sacred space containing all indigenous collective knowledge. Each wisdom tradition has their own teaching wheel. THE WHEEL OF POWER - OCT 11th, 7pm-8.30pm Various wisdom traditions use the symbol of the Wheel to teach universal truths about the structure of the world and time, the nature of the psyche and the purpose of our lives. In this lecture we will explore the 4 elements, the Celtic mythological cycle, the 4 Shining Cities of the Sidhe and their Treasures, the 4 Lunar fire festivals and the Solar solstices and equinoxes. In the Celtic Wheel the human world and the Otherworld overlap as the quantitative and qualitative aspects of Time seamlessly join together in an ever-revolving dance to place our lives in its proper perspective within the Great Round. This brings us into harmony with the larger cycle of the Cosmos reflected in the night sky as the constellations and planets which form a mandala of the Self moving in Time and Space. Through the blessings of the Earth festivals of Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine and Lughnasadh, and the Solar celebrations of the Solstices and Equinoxes, the Celtic Wheel teaches us about the revolving cycles of time and the relationship between Light and Dark, between Earth and Sun, between God and Goddess, between People and Nature in a continual ebb and flow. All of our actions take place in an all-pervading field of existence that is constantly in flux. It illustrates the forces of the deep unconscious that keep us moving through the great cycles of time. The Celtic Wheel contains indigenous wisdom teachings given to us by the Ancestors to describe and understand the flow of Life and to find our orientation within it. Each wisdom tradition has their own teaching wheels. This is a really important category and relates to what gives you energy what you enjoy doing. Some choose to include a dimension of Spirituality, instead. If you find this dimension a little bit vague, you could rename it Learning or Self-Development. This category can be merged into the Relationships category if you choose, or you can rename it Love, Significant Other, Life Partner, Wife/Husband, etc., according to your personal preference and current situation. The Family & Friends category can also be renamed Relationships, as it describes your relationship with people that are close to you. You can choose to give your health an overall rating, or split the dimension into Physical Health and Mental/Emotional Health. In the Finances dimension, rate your satisfaction with the way you handle money, or how financially secure you feel.
